Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure are usually managed over many years. Small, consistent habits make a big difference to staying on track.

Build a routine

  • Link your medicines to a daily habit, such as breakfast or brushing your teeth.
  • Use a weekly pill organiser or phone reminder.
  • Do not stop or change a prescribed medicine without talking to your doctor.

Plan refills before you run out

Request your refill when you have about a week of medicine left. This gives time to check your prescription, confirm availability and arrange delivery or collection.

Keep simple records

Keep a list of your medicines and doses, and any home readings such as blood pressure or blood glucose. Bring these to your appointments.

Use your pharmacy

Lativion Connect, our chronic care programme, offers BP and blood glucose checks, refill support and monthly medication support with delivery in Nairobi.
